Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TXT to SRT Chrome extension ("the Extension"), provided by an independent developer based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TXT to SRT is a browser extension that converts text and subtitle files into SRT format. A limited number of conversions are available free of charge; continued use beyond that limit requires a paid plan ("Pro").

2. Plans and Pricing

We offer the following paid plans, billed in USD via our payment processor, Dodo Payments:

• Monthly — recurring monthly subscription
• Yearly — recurring annual subscription
• Lifetime — one-time payment, no recurring charge

Prices are shown at checkout and may change from time to time; changes will not affect a plan you have already purchased for its current billing period or, for lifetime plans, at all.

3. Billing and Renewal

Monthly and Yearly plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the payment management link provided by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, or by contacting us directly.

4. Account and License Verification

To activate a paid plan, you must sign in with a Google account so we can verify your email address and associate it with your purchase. You are responsible for maintaining access to that Google account; license status is tied to the verified email address, not to a separate username or password.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent the free-usage limit or license verification system
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Extension without our permission
• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by us. Purchasing a plan grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Extension; it does not transfer any ownership rights.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy of conversion output, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Extension for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Extension and request cancellation of any subscription at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
